<p><em><strong>In today's episode we are joined by </strong></em><em><strong>Professor Tarun Khanna, </strong></em><em><strong>Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor at Harvard Business School &amp; the Director of The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute</strong></em></p> <p>The Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program (CELP) is a unique and fully funded leadership evelopment opportunity that provides an experience to a multidisciplinary curriculum taught by Harvard University professors for students who are the first in their family to attend university. This program is for students who are from backgrounds of social and financial adversity, are between the ages 18-26, and students must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate university program or a recent graduate from a university within the last three years.</p> <p>The goals of the program are to create a diverse pipeline of future graduate students and to cultivate future leaders from across an array of socio-economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds, across the world.</p> <p>The program began in 2017 and is now heading towards its 4th year. This program is an initiative of The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University, and led by Harvard Business School Professors Tarun Khanna and Karim Lakhani.</p> <p><em><strong>Prof. Tarun Khanna, Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor, Harvard Business School &amp; Director of The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute says, "The idea is to find the ‘Hidden Ramanujans’ or the ‘Lost Einsteins,’ and to propel their careers forward, regardless of what field of human endeavor they wish to embrace. Talent is distributed all over, opportunity is not. As an educator, this is my duty to society."</strong></em></p> <p>The Application process consists of a few easy steps, with the first step literally taking 15 mins. If selected into the first stage, all applicants get access to a few HarvardX courses that are worth hundreds of dollars, with a certificate issued. The second stage is quite exciting as poten
