<p>Southwest Pipe Trades Association (SWPTA) Political Director Ron Lord joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed the importance of face-to-face conversations when it comes to political campaigning and getting out the vote. He also talked about the importance of courting both political parties to support labor issues. </p> <p> </p> <p>Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 12 President Kelsie Anderson appeared on the AWF Union Podcast and discussed recent contracts the Local negotiated for nonprofit organizations, including the first Collective Bargaining Agreement for Augsburg University staff.  </p>
