Record Warm & Elevated Fire Conditions; Cooler Windy Tomorrow; Quiet Thanksgiving; Warm & Dry Into 1st Week of December

<p>Today an upper-level ridge over the Tri-state area starts to move east as an upper-level trough moves over the Rockies.  This will result in unseasonably warm record temps in the lower 70’s and with dry air and a bit breezy southwest winds Red Flag warnings will be in place for places along and east of KS Highway 25.   A cold front associated with the trough will move through this evening and overnight and drop our daytime temps into the upper 40’s and low 50’s for Thanksgiving.  As the trough passes through tomorrow north winds gusting to 30 mph and dry air will elevate fire concerns again.   For Thanksgiving the trough moves eastward over the Great Lakes region and northwest flow prevails over the Great Plains as a ridge builds out west.  Friday and over the weekend west and northwest flow prevails returning temps back into the 60’s and continuing dryness and elevated fire weather conditions.  </p>
