She is co-founder and Executive Director of Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights and co-leader of the non-partisan grassroots coalition Protect Choice Ohio and the Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights alliance. Dr. Beene is concerned that abortion restrictions will cause a medical crisis in Ohio, and will disproportionally affect the most vulnerable populations, including her teenage patients and people of color.
