O’Byrne Cup adventure, a miraculous phone battery and All Ireland basketball final

<p>The Laois footballers played their fourth game in 12 days on Wednesday night on Carlow when they booked their place in the O'Byrne Cup final thanks to a dramatic penalty shootout win over Kildare.</p> <p>Alan Hartnett had a bird's eye view of the sudden death shootout with his phone somehow miraculously surviving on 1% to bring the action live to our audience on Facebook.</p> <p>On our latest LaoisToday Talking Sport Podcast, he chats about that - and of course the game itself.</p> <p>Laois now go forward to play Dublin's final, back in Dr Cullen Park again.</p> <p>As well as that, we chat about the brilliant Portlaoise Panthers U-20 women's basketball team who are in All Ireland final action this Sunday as well as some of the news from the local soccer and rugby scene.</p>
