This week we will see a pattern shift with ridging developing out west and drier colder Canadian air settling over the Central U.S. and Plains States. A last Pacific system kicks out of the 4 Corners region today moving east through southeast New Mexico and Central Texas tomorrow and through the Mississippi Delta and eastern U.S. on Wednesday and Thursday. South Central and southeastern Kansas will see chances for some snow, but locally we will see mostly cloudy skies, a cold front move through with some breezy northwest winds tomorrow and colder below normal temps through the week. Daytime temps this week will be in the 20’s and lower 30’s, nighttime temps in the teens with no chances for more snow. Friday will be the first day daytime temps climb above freezing.
