Newfoundland churches sold off to pay compensation to survivors of Mount Cashel abuse

Survivors of sexual abuse at Mount Cashel Orphanage are set to finally receive compensation from the Catholic Church. But to pay, the Archdiocese of St. John’s is selling off land and churches — and angering local parishioners who thought they owned those places of worship.
