New Cathaoirleach Of East Clare MD Aiming To Reinvigorate Region

The newly elected Cathaoirleach of the Killaloe Municipal District is calling for significant investment in the local authority's road maintenance services. A report carried out by the Department of Transport in 2020 identified over 21% of the county's regional road network in need of structural repair. Constituents in East Clare region, meanwhile have consistently expressed concerns over the prevalance of pot holes and uneven surfaces on local routes.
