LESSON 13: The Wisdom Behind One’s Words - James 3:13-18

Having explained the necessity for controlling the tongue, James next tackles the issue of wisdom. His contention is that the words of one’s mouth reveal the wisdom of one’s mind. Hence, in James 3:13-18, James explores the wisdom behind one’s words. Suffice to say that what comes from one’s mouth reveals whether their wisdom is hellish or heavenly.
