Is the saying, ”Don’t be the smartest person in the room” ridiculous or snobby?

<p>It sounds like a good strategy to only spend time with people who are smarter than you. But what does "smarter" mean? Is there a benefit to constantly be on the lookout for only "smart" people? Should you cull the "bottom" 30% of our acquaintances for smarter friends?</p> <p>I asked Christopher Jerjian, David Horsewood and James D.
