After the famous mutiny on the HMS Bounty in 1789, the mutineers fled and eventually settled on the remote Pitcairn Islands in the Pacific. Travel writer Brandon Presser tells us about his journey to meet their descendants in what he calls a “trailer park at the end of the world” — and why he wanted to tell a different side of their story in his book, Far Land: Two Hundred Years of Murder, Mania and Munity in the South Pacific.
