Forced kiss: Luis Rubiales’s mother lands in hospital

<p>Angeles Bejar, the mother of Luis Rubiales has landed in a hospital after going 50 hours without eating.</p>, <p>The Spanish Football Federation president’s mother has been on hunger strike inside a church in protest of what she believes is ‘inhumane’ treatment of her son.</p>, <p>Bejar, a retired hairdresser, locked herself in Divina Pastora de Motril, Granada, since Monday morning and refused to go home.</p>, <p>A priest, Father Antonio, said on Wednesday evening that the woman has been hospitalised after going 50 hours without eating and drinking.</p>, <p>She was only taking water to take her medication.</p>, <p>“She had not been feeling well because of the heat and everything else,” he told the Spanish media, who had gathered outside the church.</p>, <p>“Her feet had become swollen and she was very tired. She had also become very nervous.”</p>
