John was joined first by Tessie Castillo, who is a co-author of the <a href= "https://tessiecastillo.com/product/crimsonletters/">Crimson Letters: Voices from Death Row</a>. Tessie shares her story about how she found herself writing a book with inmates on death row and why she is so passionate about getting these stories out.</p> <p class="">For the second half of the show John is joined by George T. Wilkerson. Wilkerson was sentenced to two death sentences on December 20, 2006. He is on death row in North Carolina.
