Episode #49 - What is Low Grade Depression, Michelle Obama, and Sex Trafficking.

In this episode I will tackle the topic of low grade depression. Earlier this week Michelle Obama acknowledged she had been dealing with what she called “low grade depression.” She also spoke about the things that she felt were contributing to her depression. I will define low grade depression or what I often refer to as situational depression and talk about ways we can cope. Treatment can be simple but like with any form of depression finding the motivation to do the things will help is often the challenge. Other factors contributing to depression are stress and loss. I also briefly touch on the topic of sex trafficking as a prelude to my upcoming episode and guest.
