<p>In this episode, Adebola Giwa joins Monica Westley to discuss his bench and clinical research in the type 1 diabetes space. Dr. Giwa is a research investigator in <a href='http://labs.pathology.jhu.edu/hamad/'>The Hamad Laboratory</a>. His bench research is focused on identifying unconventional lymphocytes and studying their role in the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes to possibly target them for future immunotherapies.
