<p>Luca Perasi joins us again to review and discuss his new book: Paul McCartney" Music Is Ideas The Stories Behind The Songs, 1970-1989. This is Luca's second book on Paul. He previously published the Paul McCartney Recording Sessions (1969-2013) book in 2014. This is a new approach and deeper dive into the actual songs and how they came about, when they were written, influences as well as incorporating a lot of research and information from Luca's first book.</p> <p> These works will be the definitive word on all things Macca. And to think, at 600 some odd pages it only goes up until 1989! We ask Luca why a second book, how his approaches were different this time around. We discuss a few of our favorite tracks an entries in the book. </p> <p>We thank Luca very much for some time spent with us and are really excited for him about his second book.
