<p>We just got back from our summer trip to the mountains, where we spent our days looking out into the lush green countryside, reading under chestnut trees, playing a too long game of Monopoly during a rainy day, making salads with the veggies we picked straight from the earth and saying good morning to a flock of sheep that lived right on the property with us. It got me thinking about our connection to the land, growing food, and it brought so many childhood memories of growing up harvesting what we grew in Venezuela.
