Black Men, Multiple Families and Access to Economic Opportunities After Slavery

Black men struggled to find work after slavery ended. This phenomenon was true around the world. Many black men were forced to leave their homes. Additionally, the dysfunctional aspects ranging from incest to abuse continued after slavery. The black family was forced to recreate a new legacy after the abuse if slavery. Some black men traveled around the United States looking for work. It was a tough upload because these stories resignate in my own family.
