Asian War Film Series: The Battle: Roar to Victory (2019)

<p>To kick off our series, we watched <em>The Battle: Roar to Victory (2019),</em> a film about the first victory of the Korean resistance in battle. It was the first victory the Korean people had won after its declaration of independence through the March 1st Movement. The Japanese forces cross the river into China to pursue of a band of independence fighters in order to crush the morale of the Korean resistance.
