Alex Iwobi recalls ‘scary’ time Arsenal fan followed him in a car for 15 minutes

<p>Alex Iwobi has recalled a ‘scary’ incident in which he was followed by an Arsenal fan after a game.</p>, <p>The young Arsenal player, who has forged himself a regular role in Arsene Wenger’s side this season thanks to some top performances, has been quick to learn some of the trappings of his growing status.</p>, <p>Speaking to the Arsenal weekly podcast, Iwobi said he had experienced ‘a lot of crazy things’ relating to fans, before telling of the time he was trailed in his car.</p>, <p>‘I remember the last home game we played. For 15 minutes there was one fan following me and I was getting a bit scared,’ said the Nigeria international.</p>, <p>‘I was getting close to my destination. I was thinking, I’m going to have to do a detour before I get to my destination before he ends up finding where I’m going.</p>, <p>‘That was a bit mad.’</p>
