A Couple Days of Seasonal Temps & Maybe Some Isolated Late Day Storms; Starting Thu Hot & Dry Conditions Prevail for 5-7-days

<p>Hazy skies and amplified ridge remains over the Rockies today with seasonal temperatures around 90.   Tomorrow, the ridge de-amplifies shifts east and develops a trough as it moves through and may kick-up some scattered showers and storms late in the afternoon or evening.  Later in the week and over the weekend, the high-pressure ridge axis moves back over the Plains with more westerly down sloping flow that warms temperature further into the mid to upper 90’s and prolonging our dry summer. Last week’s drought monitor had moderate drought returning to the area, and that could worsen over the next 7-days, which are forecasted to be dry with some excessive heat potential and elevated fire concerns.  </p>
