26.7: Jesus in Numbers Part 5: The Israelites Made it to the Promised Land!

<p>Sixteen years ago, I packed my 2 cats in my &nbsp;hatchback and set out for the biggest move of my life — Florida to &nbsp;Arizona. The trip took 4 days. My cats were quiet while I was driving, &nbsp;but as soon as I stopped for gas or to eat, they would start meowing, &nbsp;“Are we there yet?!” They complained — a lot. Just like the Israelites. &nbsp;They complained a lot. What my cats couldn’t understand is that I had my &nbsp;trust and faith fully on God. My life was in His hands — and still is!</p> <p>It took the Israelites 2 years to get to the edge of the Promised &nbsp;Land. Too bad they just didn’t have enough faith and trust in God to go &nbsp;further. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.</p> <p>If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then…</p> <p><em><strong>Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.</strong></em></p> <p>Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…</p> <p>“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”</p> <p><em>Jesus didn’t die so we could have religion!
