21 September - St Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist

St Matthew was one of the 12 apostles of Jesus and was an astute tax collector before he met Jesus. St. Matthew’s gospel has detailed accounts of Jesus’ teachings. He is the patron saint of bankers, accountants, and money changers.
