208: LIV is back, Honda Classic is done, AP takes center stage, Desert Pines is still trash.

<p><b>EPISODE 208<br/><br/></b>Thanks, everyone, for tuning in to this week&apos;s show. There&apos;s a ton of stuff going on in golf, so we had a lot to talk about. <br/><br/><a href='https://www.livgolf.com/'><b>LIV Golf </b></a>returned, and we were not impressed. As golf fans, we all tried to watch the tourney in Mayakoba, but it was just hard to watch.<br/><br/><a href='https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/2023/the-honda-classic/R2023010'><b>The Honda Classic</b></a>, however, even with a field of what many people called &quot;nobody&apos;s,&quot; was damn good. The storylines that the PGA Tour continues to pump out there is something that LIV cannot replicate. At least right now, they can&apos;t. Who knows down the road? <br/><br/>Another Elevated, Designated event hits the course this weekend on the PGA Tour as the Arnold Palmer Invitational takes center stage with a good as-it-gets field for a non-Major. <br/><br/>Joe and Matt played in the Double Par Skins game out at <a href='https://www.desertpinesgolfclub.com/'><b>Desert Pines Golf Club</b></a>, where Matt was destroyed in his Match Play event, 8 &amp; 6. (<em>that was hard to type</em>). Then we voiced our opinion about Desert Pines and what people can expect when they show up to play there. <br/><br/>Fox5 Meteorologist <a href='https://twitter.com/MattGontarekWX'><b>Matt Gontarek</b></a> gave us a look into the weekend forecast, and we&apos;re finally starting to see some typical weather now that March is finally here.
