On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: A case involving Catholic hospitals and the US Department of Health and Human Services went before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday. The contention comes over an HHS mandate for hospitals to perform sex-reassignment procedures. Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and Director of EPPC's Health and Human Services Accountability Project, Roger Severino, joins to talk more about this case and the history behind it. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden paid tribute to 3 Army soldiers who earned the Medal of Honor. And, the Australian Embassy to the Holy See organized an event this morning on the synod.
