Can you believe we’re at the one year mark of when the world was blindsided?⁣<br />⁣<br />COVID came like a tornado and threw our shit all over the place.⁣<br />⁣<br />⁣<br />Listen now⁣<br />⁣<br />⁣<br />It makes me think back to 2008 when the recession hit.⁣<br />⁣<br />I was one of the people greatly affected by the Great Recession. Had COVID happened 10 years ago, this pandemic would’ve looked very different for me.⁣<br />⁣<br />I don’t believe everything happens for a reason...⁣<br />⁣<br />...but I do believe everything that happens can serve as something magical and be a great catalyst for change in your life—if you choose it. But that takes a perspective shift and choosing not to be a victim.⁣<br />⁣<br />In 2008, I was a victim.⁣<br />⁣<br />And I was angry all the time. If you were around my energy back then, you were walking on eggshells. But looking back now, all those hard things served something beautiful in my life—even if it took me four years to realize it.⁣<br />⁣<br />Similarly, COVID has brought different gifts for each Enneagram type:⁣<br />⁣<br />Type 1: Leaned into healthy 7, black-and-white thinking became “what am I going to make out of this?”⁣<br />Type 2: Leaned into healthy 4, forcing them to not be of service to others and instead tend to their own needs.⁣<br />Type 3: Leaned into healthy 6, slowed down and used troubleshooting to pivot.⁣<br />Type 4: Forced them to have structure and experienced next-level creativity.⁣<br />Type 5: They loved quarantine!
