Trulythesound

Trulythesound has accomplished in 2 short years what other artists may take longer to do — with his hard work and dedication to music. Born in New York, Trulythesound migrated back and forth between New York and North Carolina in his younger years — and his unidentified “Sound” spurts from his New York and Southern roots. On March 19th 2017, Trulythesound released “Die For It”, where the title track showed just what Truly was and is willing to do for the music he shares with his listeners. Less than half a year later, Trulythesound followed up with ‘Lani’ — where we found Trulythesound in a much darker place. The album’s single “PartyNextDoor” set the tone for Truly’s ascension into his love for Lani, while the benediction of Lani — “2017” — finds Trulythesound at a place of acceptance and loss, as he chants “you need to let go” through dim proclamation. Trulythesound came back on the anniversary of “Die For it” with his joint project “So Many” — where him and his long-time friend and fellow artist David H come together to share their ups and downs, ins and outs, triumphs and defeats — all while boasting musical chemistry and conversation between one another. Trulythesound is well on his way, and it’s looking like a groovy 2018 for this independent artist.
