Warmer & Windy Today While Much Cooler Tomorrow; Hot & Dry Weekend; Cooler More Seasonal Next Week But Looks to Stay Dry

<p>TODAY a lee trough develops along the Front Range resulting in gusty south winds pushing temperatures back into the lower 90’s. Tonight and tomorrow the trough and associated low-pressure and cool front pulls off to the northeast turning winds to the north and dropping highs back into the 70’s for a day and maybe kicking up a storm or two along the KS/NE border.   Over the weekend the trend for hot and dry weather continues as the upper-level ridge moves directly over the Tri-state region.  This will result in daytime highs in the lower to mid-90’s and nighttime lows in the lower 60’s and elevated fire weather conditions.</p> <p> </p>
