Warm & Dry Start to the Week; Keeps Getting Hotter & Stays Dry to End It; Not Much Change in the 6-10-day Outlook

<p>The amplifying ridge of high-pressure that has been building out west will move over the Tri-state area the next 24hrs and will not budge much until possibly over the weekend when it might weaken some and allow northwest flow to come over the top and through the area.  We can expect completely dry conditions, afternoon high temperatures to start the week in the upper 80’s and low 90’s, by the end of the week be in the upper 90’s and possibly low 100’s, while lows will be seasonal in the 60-65-degree range.   With south southeasterly surface winds, it should remain humid and there could be some elevated heat indexes by the end o the week, especially along and east of Highway 83.</p>
