Unions saving the families of 50,000 Ukrainian seafarers

<p>When Russia attacked Ukraine in February 2022, thousands of Ukrainian seafarers were on their vessels away from their families. Transport unions helped by flying families out of the country, purchasing supplies and providing mental health counselling for the children.</p> <p><em>RadioLabour is the international labour movement’s radio service.
