They're not only not 'mutually exclusive' but they're actually directly correlated [Helping people and earning money AND healthy living and fun and enjoyment]

We're on a mission to help one million people RISE by 2030 - join the movement at www.myrise.co.uk

When you work in an industry where the average person earns less than minimum wage when you look at their hours………….

You sometimes get comments when you are, shall we say, more successful than that.

The comments have slowed a lot since we first started and it was a new concept people weren’t so familiar with………….

But we still get them.

About us “making money off other people’s unhappiness”.

Or “profiting off people’s struggles”.

I sometimes reply to such comments (on social media) with something like;

“It’s great that you’re independently wealthy and don’t need to get paid for what you do. I’m not that fortunate and have bills to pay and kids to feed”.

They usually don’t reply to that.

Or if they do, they point out that that’s not the case for them and they do their work, in part at least, in order to get paid.

Like we all do.

Because we can have multiple reasons for doing what we do.

One doesn’t eliminate the other.

Us wanting to do this, liking to help people and changing people’s lives…………

Isn’t mutually exclusive to getting paid to do it.

If anything they’re directly correlated.

A person’s income in a product of how many people they help and how much they help them.

We help a lot of people and are really good at it.

If someone else does something kinda similar to us but doesn’t make much money from it…………

They’re either helping less people or are less good at helping them.

Neither of those things are good for the customer.

Not mutually exclusive – directly correlated.

Like living a healthy lifest
