Older kids on the block act as mentors.</p> <p>The streets serve as their school, home, and the whole world. Parental addiction and abandonment shape their childhoods in ways no child should experience. But the resilience and strength gained from those hard times can make them who they are.</p> <p>Now this podcast wants to share these stories and let others know they&#39;re not alone. The streets may have raised them, but they don&#39;t have to define them.
