The Short Score: 2023 WCRA Rodeo Carolina

<p>The inaugural WCRA Rodeo Carolina saw a field of IPRA teams and NFR teams, and it made for some interesting rounds.</p><p>On this episode of The Short Score, we catch up with the Progressive Round winners and the Rodeo Carolina champs.</p><p>In Progressive Round 1,&nbsp;<a href="https://teamropingjournal.com/news/wcra/protecting-the-home-turf-king-britnell-secure-spot-in-2023-rodeo-carolina-triple-crown-of-rodeo-round/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Heath King and Stephen Britnell</a>&nbsp;blasted a 4.58-second run to win the round for $1,500 a man. Progressive Round 2 was won by the Rodeo Corpus Christi champs&nbsp;<a href="https://teamropingjournal.com/news/wcra/staying-in-the-conversation-rodeo-corpus-champs-kittle-helton-advance-to-final-round-of-2023-rodeo-carolina/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Riley Kittle and Jace Helton</a>&nbsp;with a 5.03. And finally, with a 5.70-second run,&nbsp;<a href="https://teamropingjournal.com/news/wcra/theriot-curry-claim-2023-wcra-rodeo-carolina-win-ahead-of-first-nfr/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Marcus Theriot and Cole Curry</a>&nbsp;were the 2023 Rodeo Carolina champs, pocketing $15,000 a man.&nbsp;</p>
