The Perishing: They can't see the the Light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ!

Likewise, those who are perishing, also kills the "rescuer"/servant who was sent by the Lord to preach them the Gospel. They "kill" them with their hate for Christ! They strike panic mode because their conscience tells them that the way they are living is wicked before God and they try to deflect that prick in the heart by lashing out when you bring the Good News that can save a sin sick soul!! Those who are in darkness hate the Light and they hate those who come in Jesus' Name with the message of the cross! 1 Corinthians 1:18, KJV: "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." What this means in blunt terms, Paul is saying that to the unsaved world, those who preach the gospel look like idiots. Broadly speaking, ungodly people think believers, and their faith, are stupid. Why is it that they are so blind to the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Well, Paul identifies for us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 two sources of spiritual blindness: sin inside of unbelievers and the work of Satan to keep them spiritually blind. The Gospel message of Christ's death on the cross is weak and foolish to the world, but God has given faith in Christ to those who believe it and find God's power and wisdom. AND THAT IS WHY WE CONTINUE, EVEN IN THE FACE OF OPPOSITION AND PERSECUTION, TO PREACH THE GOSPEL NONETHELESS!
