<p> Tuesday 13th April </p> <p><br></p> <p> </p> <p> The Fear of Starting Again 2</p> <p><br></p> <p>We started looking at the life of Moses yesterday and we see that his first attempt at delivering the Hebrews failed. Yes, it was God’s purpose for him to deliver them but was it the right time and was he following God’s method?</p> <p><br></p> <p>Moses was at this time a great leader in Egypt with chances of being the future Pharaoh and one failure brought everything down reducing him to a nobody, a non-entity leading sheep in Midian. [Act. 7:22-29] </p> <p><br></p> <p>Exodus3 vs 9-11 (NLT), 9 Look! The cry of the people of Israel has reached me, and I have seen how harshly the Egyptians abuse them. 10 Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.” 11 But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” </p> <p><br></p> <p>Failure wasn’t Moses’ real problem, it was the fear that came as a result of the failure, it literally redefined him. Fear made him doubt himself, it buried his dream and drained his strength. We must never allow that to happen to us. We must confront our fears, we must not allow the mistakes of yesterday to overcome us. Moses gave all the excuses he could give, and as he stayed with God, he overcame his fears. God isn’t holding our past failures against us, we mustn’t hold it against ourselves. </p> <p><br></p> <p>I do not know what is holding you back today. I want you to go back to your God given dream. You were convinced of years ago, why must the fear of failed attempts rob you of it? You can start again. Get back on your feet and trust God to help you. Never let the fear of failure have the final say in your life. </p> <p><br></p> <p>God bless you. </p> <p><br></p> <
