South Africa’s Treasury Propose Bill to Tackle Money Laundering

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has tabled in Parliament the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing Amendment Bill while reiterating the government's commitment to nip illicit money flows.<br />The National Treasury says the approval was a demonstration of the government's commitment to the fight against corruption, money laundering and terror financing. <br />He says the law will improve South Africa's adherence to international best practices in combating financial crimes and corruption.
