NSCDC confirms killing of female bar operator in Osun

<p>The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Osun State Command, has confirmed the death of a bar operator in Ikirun.</p>, <p>The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Kehinde Adeleke confirmed the development to DAILY POST on Saturday.</p>, <p>Iya Bisola, a popular bar operator in Ikirun, was found dead at her residence at Oke-Glo area of the town apparently strangled to death by yet to be identified persons on Friday.</p>, <p>DAILY POST gathered that her corpse was discovered by a customer.</p>, <p>Adeleke explained that investigation has commenced to unravel the matter.</p>, <p>“A popular beer parlour vendor, called Iya Bisola, at Station Road, Ikirun, was allegedly strangled to death by unknown person(s).</p>, <p>“Though the reasons for her assassination are yet to be unraveled, our personnel visited the scene of the incident at Oke-Glo, Ikirun before the corpse was evacuated,” he said.</p>, <p>Her death has led to apprehension among the residents of Oke-Glo area of Ikirun as residents gathered in front of her residence in a bid to confirm the authenticity of her death.</p>
