Nebraska lawmakers to consider restoring voter rights for former felons

<p>LB 158, recently placed on the Nebraska Legislature's General File, would restore voter rights to people immediately after they complete the terms of their felony sentences. Proponents say the measure will reduce recidivism, and end the current practice that disenfranchises Nebraskans during a two-year waiting period.
