July 19, 2022 Sac City Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting

SAC CITY PLANNING & ZONING BOARD TUESDAY, JULY 19, 2022 SAC CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS The regular monthly meeting of the Sac City Planning & Zoning Board was held on Tusday July 19, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Sac City Council Chambers with the following board members present: Curtis Bloes, Susan McCollum, Matt Mueggenberg, and Angela Murley. Also present for the meeting was Planning and Zoning Advisor Jon Minnmann and Council Liaison Teresa Bruening. President Curtis Bloes called the meeting to order at 6:03 pm. Roll call showed board members Jim Geery and Keri Mahler were absent. There were no conflicts of interest noted. Motion by Susan McCollum and seconded by Matt Mueggenberg to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. Motion by Jim Geery and seconded by Susan McCollum to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2022board meeting as presented. Motion carried. There were no communications either written or oral presented to the board. Curtis Bloes read the May 17, 2022 through July 19, 2022 Zoning Officer Update into the record. Curtis Bloes read the May 17, 2022 - July 19, 2022 Enforcement Officer Update into the record: 209 South State Street –Was sued under Iowa Code 657A. Ownership transferred Todd and Tracy Foot who abated the nuisance. Case was dismissed after compliance. 1410 Hobbs Street - Property Abated by the City through demolition. 1327 Maple Street - Property Served October 20, 2021. Not abated – Needs to replace siding in boarded up areas. I will talk with Stacy regarding issuing a citation. 628 Oak Street - Abated – Currently taking sealed bid for the sale of the property. 207 South 13th Street - Dangerous Building, not abated. Served on May 3rd, 2022. Will be referred to the City Attorney after August 3rd for demolition by the City. 211 South 12th Street - Continued complaints. I need to meet with Carlson about this and decide the next steps. 211 South State Street - South State Street. Abated – Demolished. 813 West Main Street -
