Deskripsi

A former Irish Rugby Captain is making way his through Clare today as part of a mammoth challenge to raise funds for a good cause. Rory Best claimed three six nations titels including two grand slams during his International rugby career & is now in the midst of a 330 km walk from the Aviva Stadium to Cong in Co.Mayo. The Armagh native is hoping to help Cancer Fund for Children build a second therapeutic short break centre for children and families across Ireland and will stop in Barefield as part of his fundraiser. There is currently just one centre operational in Co Down that only has the capacity to deal with one in seven children in neeed & Rory believes a second facility would make a major improvement to the lives of families across the country.
