Ireland South MEP Calls For Major Investment In Shannon Airport

An MEP for this region is calling on the government to capitalise on the recent success of Shannon Airport. It comes as the Clare base has announced the addition of two-hundred flights to its schedule across traditional school holiday terms during October, Easter and Christmas. Shannon Airport have attributed the success to a third Ryanair aircraft based at its facility this year. Ireland South Fine Gael MEP, Seán Kelly says its vital the state recognise the opportunities available.
