I Am the Lord Who Brought You out of Egypt

By Ben Light in Salem, OR - April 12, 2023 - The phrase, "I AM the LORD Who Brought You Out of Egypt" is found dozens of times in the pages of our bibles. Frequently it is used for God to identify Himself, in describing WHO He is, and WHAT He did for Israel. But we also see this phrase used as the reasoning for a number of instructions we see throughout the Old Testament as well. Why? Why does God call Israel's attention back to the events that took placed during these Days of Unleavened Bread so many years ago, and what does it mean for us as Christians today?
