How positive are we that Casey Thompson is going to be the starting QB to begin the season?

Is it really going to be an open competition in the Fall? </p><p>-ESPN.com was going through their different tiers of QBs across college football, and listed Thompson, Chubba Purdy and Logan Smothers all as a battle for the starting job. They listed a few other battles but most QBs were listed with a definitive starter </p><p>-What is the expectation from fans?
