Hot Today w/Evening Storm Chances; Fri/Sat Temps in 80’s w/Storm Chances; Returns to 90’s Sun & 4th of July; Hot & Dry July

<p>Today will still be hot with highs in the mid to upper-90’s then in the evening a cool front and disturbance will produce some scattered showers and storm chances through the night.   Tomorrow and Saturday upper-level flow becomes more zonal over the area with a trough to the north and ridge to the south increasing later afternoon and evening storm chances and drop into the mid-80s to around 90 behind a cool front sandwiched between the trough to the north and ridge to the south.  Sunday and Monday the ridge rebuilds over the Plains with 90-degree summer heat returning and the evening storm chances become more limited and isolated with little effect on the moderate and extreme drought conditions across the tri-state region.        </p>
