Hot & Mostly Dry Through the Weekend; Cooler More Seasonal Temps w/Some Hit & Miss Storms Mon/Tue; Returns to Hot & Dry the Rest of Next Week

<p>A strong upper-level ridge over Rockies and extending into the Plains today and tomorrow will push highs back into the mid to upper 90’s to around 100-degrees today.  Fire danger conditions remain a threat east of highway 27 with lower relative humidity and southerly surface winds.   Tomorrow evening a cool front will move through with some scattered storm chances and gusty northwest winds.  Upper-level flow becomes more zonal and westerly over the Rockies Sunday and early next week with a couple of shortwave troughs rotating around an upper low in central Canada. The first will move through Monday night, then another stronger shortwave on Tuesday resulting in some hit and miss storm chances.  Monday will still be warm, while Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures will be cooler and closer to more seasonal readings. </p>
