ESOP Summer School 29: Dave Fitz-Gerald's ESOP Themed Novel is Out Now

To celebrate this week's release of David Fitz-Gerald's new ESOP-themed book, we're featuring it as part of our annual EO/ESOP Podcast Summer School series. We selected some of our favorite episodes over the past year for your enjoyment while we spend the rest of our summer catching our breath and working on launching our exciting Season 7, beginning in September 2023. In this episode, Bret Keisling was joined by author Dave Fitz-Gerald to discuss his Kickstarter campaign for "If It's the Last Thing I Do," which is the very first fiction novel to feature an ESOP. We encourage everyone to check out this book to help bring ESOPs into popular culture. "If It's the Last Thing I Do" tells the story of a retired receptionist who unexpectedly inherits her father's business and converts it into an ESOP in the late 1970s. The story includes many twists and turns that will be familiar to anyone involved in ESOP transitions and business succession.
