Episode 90: Science Vs Religion? Retracing the Origins of the Conflict with James Ungureanu [Part 2]

<img src="https://assets.podomatic.net/ts/51/52/8f/jwalker55293/3000x3000_15749607.jpg" alt="itunes pic" /><br /><p>In the late 19th century, <strong>William Draper</strong> and <strong>Andrew White</strong>, set out to make a historical case that science and religion were not in conflict. Yet today, Draper and White are often portrayed as the progenitors of the conflict between science and religion in popular skeptic and atheist polemics against religion.  </p><p><br></p><p>On part two of our interview with historian of science Dr. James Ungureanu, we will examine how Draper and White's works have come to serve contemporary atheist polemics against Christianity.
