Born in Pak Chong, Thailand, Sesser was found on the steps of a Buddhist temple at just three weeks old. Wrapped in a pink blanket and without legs, Sesser was brought to a local hospital where she lived until entering foster care in Bangkok. At five years old, she was adopted by an American couple and has lived in the States ever since. Today, rather than a wheelchair, you are more likely to see her with a skateboard.
