Deskripsi

The Chief Wellbeing Officer update is a fortnightly insight column by Tom Bosna, which he writes on LinkedIn and for the Well Workplaces community.

For the second CWO, the question is - do you have the right to disconnect in the workplace?

The Eight Hours workday Act was passed for Victoria and New South Wales, Australia in 1916. Fast forward to now and the Fourth industrial Revolution is in full effect and the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds are getting pretty darn blurry - especially at work!

Throw in a global pandemic, add in the eight hour work mindset and then stir in Mark Zuckerberg talking about the Metaverse and things are feeling pretty damn weird (I personally prefer Icelandverse).

So back to the question - do you have the right to disconnect at your work?

Well Workplaces is a movement by Pinnacle Health Group. Our vision is for a world where workplaces lead and create healthier communities. Well Workplaces podcast has been designed to create genuine wellbeing conversations in the workplace and share expert knowledge in practical ways.
