Ennis Councillors Clash Over Call For Fleadh Nua To Retain Use Of Abbey Street Car Park

Local representatives for the Ennis area have clashed over a call for Fleadh Nua to retain the use of a prominent car park for the 50th edition of the festival. At this month's meeting of Ennis Municipal District, which took place earlier this week, a Clarecastle councillor asked that the municipal district "refrain from preventing" the committee from holding events in Abbey Street Car Park.
